Being in shape is very important, and it can help you throughout your season. If you are not in shape when you are playing soccer its going to hurt you in the long run, because your team is counting on you to be helping them win games. Being in shape also makes the season eaiser on you because then you have one less thing to worry about! Along with working out comes eating healthy. Eating healthy and working out is what makes you a better person, and a threat on the field.
Running a mile a day isn't going to hurt you, it will only make you better on and off the field!
